Hi there, sorry for this delay .
We will tell you a little about what we did…
Here in Uruguay we knew about this wonderful party two weeks before May 22. I haven´t got any experience in the organization of events, but when I started complaining that there weren´t any option to celebrate the World goth day in this little and conservative country, some friends, told me that I could organize such an event.
Tefa Doomer, a friend, and my boyfriend, Juan Manuel, join me with lot of ideas and held. Time was very little, and money almost zero. We invited by facebook to our gothic friends to meet us, on May 22, in Parque Rodó, a beatiful park which has a toy castle, that gives a nice astmosphere. May 22, was a very rainy day (remember that is auttum in the southern hemisphere), but many people wanted to celebrate, so we made it a week after, on 28. We spend all the afternoon and evening in the park that day, having a good time.
Gothic Uruguayan band FIXION and especially Daniel Bonilla helped us a lot. We also had support from Roger Pacilio Julien from a T.V program called “Todo se transforma” (“Everything changes”)
We share a lot of ideas about what to do next year, and I hope we could organize something better in 2012.
