Fun travelling or on your business trip to Frankfurt or the Rhine Main Area? Here're some places you can enter the night!
The Rhine-Main-Area with Frankfurt at its center is an area of roughly 100 km or 60 miles in diameter (so better prepare to have some transportation to get anywhere) and about 4 mio. inhabitants. It consists of some bigger cities like Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz etc. with a lot of smaller towns and villages thrown in.
To search dark spots in the web some complexity is added by the fact, that it covers parts of 3 to 4 states ("Bundesländer"): Hessen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg.

My special tip: If you think Frankfurt is mostly highrises and boring business, try the old part of the borough of Höchst around Schlossplatz! The "Bären" ("bear") right at the Schlossplatz offers great food for low to reasonable prices and many of our famous specialties.
